West Central Renewable Energy Group Jeff Stroburg has over 25 years of experience in the petroleum and agricultural production industries including five years as the CEO and Chairman of REG; also VP and COO of the Eastern Ag Region of Land O' Lakes, President and CEO of Countrymark Cooperative (petroleum refiner and distributor), President and CEO of Hamilton Farm Bureau Cooperative. Mr. Stroburg currently serves as the President and CEO of West Central Cooperative. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, Associated Benefits Corporation, Biosciences Alliance of Iowa and Iowa State University's Center for Crops Utilization Research Industry/Stakeholder Advisory Board. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Graduate Institute of Cooperative Leadership (GICL).
Delbert Christensen Director
Delbert Christensen has served as a member of REG's Board of Directors since August 2006. He adds valuable board experience and commodity and market knowledge from his past positions. Mr. Christensen assumed a director position at West Central in 1993, a role which he still serves in along with his position of President of CHMD Pork which he has held since 2004.
Randolph L. Howard Director
Randolph L. Howard has served as a member of REG's Board of Directors since February 2007. Mr. Howard brings significant experience in strategy formation and international markets, skill sets he honed during his time as Senior Vice President for the Global Gas Division of Unocal Corporation, part of his 17 years of experience in various managerial roles at Unocal.
Michael A. Jackson Director
Adayana Michael A. Jackson has served as a member of REG's Board of Directors since 2006. Mr. Jackson brings a range of experience, knowledge, skills and expertise acquired as the CEO and President of Agri Business Group, Inc., an agribusiness consulting firm which he founded and served as CEO of from 1979 until the company's merger in 2005 at which point he shifted into the same administrative roles of the new ABG, a Adayana Company.
Jonathon Koch Director
US Renewables Group Jonathon Koch has served as a member of REG's Board of Directors since 2008. Mr. Koch has significant understandings of the strategies and operations needed for start-up companies, particularly in the renewable energy sector, acquired from past positions. He currently serves as Managing Director of US Renewables Groups, an investment firm focused on the renewable energy industry. Mr. Koch has filled CEO and COO positions and is concurrently serving on the boards of wind energy, ethanol, power generation, and energy storage companies demonstrating himself as a valuable advisor in the energy sector.
Mike Scharf Chairman REG Audit Committee
Mr. Scharf, previously served as a member of the Company's Board of Directors from August 2006 until December 2009. He rejoined the board in early 2012. Mr. Scharf has served as a director of Patriot Coal Corporation since November 2007 and previously served as a director of Southwest Iowa Renewable Energy, LLC from 2007 to 2009. Mr. Scharf served as Executive Director, Global Financial Services from January 2010 until his retirement in July 2011 and served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bunge North America, Inc., the North American operating arm of Bunge Limited an agribusiness and food company, from 1989 to 2009, and currently consults for Bunge North America, Inc. with respect to global administrative process improvements. Prior to joining Bunge North America, Inc., Mr. Scharf served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Peabody Holding Company, Inc. from 1978 to 1989, and as Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1969 to 1978. Mr. Scharf holds a B.S. in accounting from Wheeling Jesuit University and is a certified public accountant.
Christopher D. Sorrells Director
NGP Technology Partners Christopher D. Sorrells has served as a member of REG's Board of Directors since 2008. Mr. Sorrells has been the Managing Director of NGP Energy Technology Partners, a private equity firm investing in energy technology companies. He has a wide knowledge of debt and equity markets, particularly as relating to green technologies, having worked with solar energy and chemical products in his director positions at groSolar and Lehigh Technologies
